Sha Gutters: Gutters, Downpipes and Rainwater Fittings
In a Sri Lankan monsoon, a roof sheds a great deal of water very quickly. Sha Gutters carry it safely away from your walls, foundations and garden, season after season.

A Complete Rainwater System

Outlets and stop ends
Watertight connections where the gutter meets the downpipe and at each end.

From Roof to Drain
Rain runs off the roof into the gutter. The gutter falls gently towards an outlet, the downpipe carries the water to ground level and a drain takes it away from the building.
If any one part is too small or badly fitted, water ends up on your walls instead.
Why Gutters Fail
Getting the Size Right
How many downpipes does my roof need?
It depends on the roof area draining to each gutter and how hard it rains. Too few downpipes is one of the most common causes of overflowing gutters. Send us your roof size and we will advise.
Why does my gutter overflow even when it is clean?
Usually the gutter is too small for the roof, it does not fall towards the outlet or there are not enough downpipes. Each has a different fix.
Should gutters match my roof colour?
Most homeowners match the gutters to the roof or the fascia for a clean finish. Ask us about colour options.

Gutter Questions
Can I replace only part of my gutters?
Often, yes, provided the new sections match the existing profile. Send us a photo and we will check.
Do you supply gutters to my own builder?
Yes. Send us your roof size or materials list and we will quote every part you need.
